El Terç sports complex

The recently renovated sport complex of El Terç in the city of Alaquas close to Valencia is the most important sports facility in town by its surface and location. Altogether with the Dijous park helps to configure the Southwest border of the city becoming at the same time its greenbelt.
The project finished in 2009 occupies a surface of 46.000 m2 and it included the construction of three new buildings, two new dressing room buildings and a cafeteria altogether with the restoration of the existing spectator’s tiered seating area. The three football existing playing fields were fully repaved with last generation synthetic grass. Several sports can be practice today on the complex, football, tennis, paddle tennis and track and field’s. The original design included a main building containing a wellness area, several training and dressing rooms, a restaurant and a cafeteria that never got built.
